Activated Carbon Odour Control Systems


GENERAL CARBON FS Systems provide a simple, cost effective solution for large odour control problems and air treatment applications. The adsorber is made from fiberglass reinforced plastic for corrosion and weather resistance as well as strength and durability. All connections are laminated onto the tank during the hand lay-up process. Two large manholes allow the activated carbon to be serviced without confined space tank entry. Internal grates and screen are field replaceable.

Wet activated carbon removes oxygen from air causing a severe hazard to workers inside carbon vessels. Confined space/low oxygen procedures should be put in place before any entry is made. Such procedures should comply with all applicable local, state and federal guidelines.
