MM-1000 is a pelletised activated alumina impregnated with potassium permanganate. It is ideal for certain applications where activated carbon is ineffective like the adsorption of polar or lower molecular weight compounds. Because it is pelletized, MM-1000 is advantageous to similar granular products for use in certain types of panel filters and in applications where lower pressure drop is required.
