Activated Carbon
GC Powdered Activated Carbon is a virgin carbon. Derived from selected grades of bituminous coal, its high activity and surface area make it ideal for many purification applications including the treatment of potable water and the removal of taste, odour and organic contaminants. It meets the requirements of AWWA B600-90.

Wet activated carbon removes oxygen from air causing a severe hazard to workers inside carbon vessels. Confined space/low oxygen procedures should be put in place before any entry is made. Such procedures should comply with all applicable local, state and federal guidelines.
